Together with Junglite Green, the research-based lighting system Nature Dynamics, from Once by Signify, helps to improve and optimize production, both in terms of productivity and animal welfare - and on top of that, with the possibility of 3% higher slaughter weight.
The core of the system is the recipe management and the wireless technology in the lamps, which imitate the sun's light and circadian rhythm, and which follows the growth of the chickens. The light causes the chickens to become more relaxed and less stressed, and even look better, as their eyes better perceive the green light from Junglite Green, which makes them feel safe. It is also possible to set blue light, which makes it possible to move freely in the barn without stressing the animals, which is optimal e.g. in connection with capture.
The light is specially developed for poultry, and IP66 certified, which means that the lights withstand washing, disinfection, dust and ammonia. A 5-year warranty is also included. The LED lamps have a low electricity consumption, only 12W, and the possibility of being dimmed to 0% in brightness, which results in an additional power saving that is extremely significant – especially in an energy crisis.
Automatic app-based lighting system
In order to get off to the best possible start, the first setup of the automatic lighting system is done in collaboration with the installer. The lamps are controlled wirelessly via your stable computer or mobile device, and after the first setup you will have complete control over how the lighting system should behave during the day.
Each step in chicks' development is optimized in terms of day length, intensity and light color through a light recipe that can be downloaded. This way you don't have to guess how most optimal grow lights are composed.
The lighting system is continuously being upgraded to the latest software, and in 2023 you will have the opportunity to expand with new products, such as temperature sensor and humidity sensor. In the long term, this should mean that, with the help of artificial intelligence, you can use the measured data for further automation and optimization of all measurable conditions and processes around the chickens.
