RN Solutions was established in 2013 by Rune Qvist Nielsen, who has a background in agriculture.
Drawing inspiration from other European pig productions, combined with insights from his own pig production, he developed a LED lighting concept, with sustainable awareness, that resulted in significant energy savings, increased productivity among sows, and a good working environment.
Today, the product range includes a wide variety of durable and efficient LED lighting solutions for both agriculture and industry. The products are sold in more than 20 countries worldwide.

IN-HOUSE PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Quality assurance through in-house product development and design
RN Solutions has its own office in Asia with Danish staff responsible for quality control and production. The factories that RN Solutions collaborates with are all ISO9001 certified and are regularly inspected by RN Solutions' own personnel.
Through in-house production and close collaboration with the factories, quality control is ensured from the initial idea to the finished product. Additionally, it provides customers with a guarantee that they will always have access to plugs, cables, and other components that are compatible with previous product models.
Ideas for new products, as well as design and development, take place in RN Solutions' Danish department.
Collaboration with ONCE® by Signify
RN Solutions entered into a collaboration with Signify, formerly known as Philips Lighting, including ONCE® by Signify, in the spring of 2021. ONCE® by Signify is Signify's brand for innovative LED lighting for animals. Since 2008, ONCE® by Signify has invested significantly in the development, testing, and experimentation of colored lighting for livestock housing.
ONCE® by Signify focuses on LED lighting solutions tailored to different animal species and specific production types. They have turned colored lighting into a science, resulting in improved animal welfare with reduced stress and enhanced productivity.
Overall, their solutions contribute to a more efficient production process. Additionally, all products from ONCE® by Signify are energy-efficient and designed with durable materials capable of withstanding the challenging farm environment.
