Light control makes use of daylight and saves on electricity

Your big advantage is that once the light control is installed, you don't have to touch it anymore - it will run itself. And you actually don't notice if the light is turned off or if it is turned on. You can even define via your phone that you should always have 120 lux at certain points, and then the light control will always regulate the light, regardless of whether there is light falling from outside. If there is suddenly a cloud in front of the sun, it wants to constantly regulate the light, so there is always, for example, 120 lux. So the barn only uses exactly the amount of electricity it needs to maintain an even light level for your animals.

Every time you go into a barn and turn on the light, all the animals normally start up, and it is deeply stressful for them, because now "something or other happens." When the animals have optimal light all the time, both your production and your reproduction will be more even.

On a summer day with lots of sun, it doesn't mean much, because then the light just goes out - but when it's very dark during the day, it can have a big impact on productivity. Often we find that either the light is on or it is off - and this means that the animals are either getting too much or too little light. With light control, the light never becomes a stressful moment for the animals, so in addition to lowering electricity consumption, you also increase animal welfare in the barn.
