Historien bakom RN Solutions

Från en idé på en resa i Europa till global framgång med fokus på produktivitet och energibesparingar inom jordbruket
RN Solutions grundades av direktören och lantbrukaren Rune Q. Nielsen 2013/2014 och har sedan dess gjort sig ett namn som en föregångare inom utvecklingen av energibesparingar inom grisproduktion och lantbruk. Redan från början har RN Solutions tankesätt varit att med lite nordjysk "uppfinnighet" och en affärsmodell som fokuserar på produktivitet kontra investeringar kan man bli framgångsrik på en global skala.
Idén för RN Solutions kom till när Rune under en resa i Europa upptäckte att suggorna i hagarna i vissa länder hade blivit övertända och att det hade förbättrat suggornas reproduktion. Rune tyckte att det kunde göras ännu bättre och det resulterade i utvecklingen av ljuskonceptet SowLight, där LED-armaturer enkelt kunde monteras direkt på armaturen via speciella kontakter.
SowLight blev snabbt populärt bland bönder i Danmark, eftersom de kunde installera armaturerna själva med Plug'N Play™-kablar. Konceptet utvecklades snabbt till att även omfatta andra ladugårdstyper i grisproduktionen samt för nötkreatur, fjäderfä, verkstäder och byggarbetsplatser.
Idag finns RN Solutions belysningskoncept i över 20 länder världen över, och SowLight-konceptet lyser nu upp över 1 miljon sjöar. RN Solutions etablerade även sin egen produktion i Kina 2017, för att säkerställa enhetlig kvalitet, stabil produktion och snabb utveckling av nya produkter.
Alla belysningsprodukter från RN Solutions är hållbara, har ett bra ljus, är lätta att installera och har rimliga priser. De allra flesta produkter kan även användas i tuffa miljöer som stallbyggnader och livsmedelsindustrin, är extremt lätta att rengöra och är certifierade för försäljning i Europa, Kina och Nordamerika.
RN Solutions levererar både direkt till lantbrukare och kunder, men även till elinstallatörer och återförsäljare. Sortimentet omfattar både belysningsprodukter för självmontering och fasta installationer av proffs.
Idag består RN Solutions av åtta anställda, varav majoriteten av medarbetarna finns på huvudkontoret i Støvring och där en mindre del finns vid produktionen i Kina.

Own products
RN Solutions has developed a large number of its own products from scratch at the company's address in Støvring, but it also sells the Phillips product ONCE by Signify, which is among the market's best-known solutions for poultry houses.
But the advice is also important so that the light is set up and adjusted optimally in the barn, which is why RN Solutions is with you all the way from the farmer or the electrical installer making contact until the first light falls on the animals.
-We are very specialized in controlling the light within agriculture, and here we can be an important player for the local electrical installer, who typically does not have the detailed knowledge of how the right light can optimize production in the stables, explains Rune Qvist Nielsen about the reason for the employment of Jacob Michaelsen, who will primarily be responsible for sales and advice in Central Jutland, North Jutland and Funen.

Five-year warranty
Ordinary lighting fixtures are often not approved for agriculture because ammonia from animal husbandry irritates the electronics - even if the fixture is tight. But there are also other practical conditions that apply to a farm, which is why director Rune Qvist Nielsen's own experiences as a farmer play an important role in the development of the smart lighting.
For if there is anything that life as a pig producer has taught Rune Qvist Nielsen, it is that the light source in the barn must be robust, so in the products from RN Solutions, the electronics have been given a special coating and the fixtures have the highest tightness class, and therefore Jacob Michaelsen is completely comfortable selling the lighting solutions with a full 5-year guarantee
-Our products are specially made to be able to withstand the stable environment and for harsh industry, and most LED fittings are IP69K-approved, and they are because our products have been created to be able to cope with a harsh environment with both ammonia and cleaning with a high-pressure cleaner, explains Jacob Michaelsen.
